Good Morning

Since Easter a TON has happened! We moved into Justin's parents home and are livng in the basement. It is nice to have our own space and to have Whitney in her own room. We took a trip down to Vegas to visit my parents for a week and went to the strip with them and had a wonderful time! Then Justin started his 3:30pm to Midnight job at a call center doing some census work. It has been hard because I dont see him very often, but I am grateful that I get to see him at least once a day! I am babysitting part time for a wonderful family! They are super great kids and they are fun to be around. Whitney is growing and progressing too fast! She had her first giggle a few nights ago...but we cant get her to do it again. I guess we just are not as fun as we think we are! I have made her some cute summer clothes...2 dresses and 1 wrap around shirt! It is so cute! I am trying to learn a new skill while I am here...sewing! I got a sewing machine from my bridal shower and have not used it yet. So I thought that since I am down here with my Mother-in-law who is a wonderful seamstress that she could teach me a thing or two! oh and has she ever! It has been really fun!

Justin and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary on Sunday! So Justin, Whitney and I are going to go to the zoo on Friday and then on Saturday we are going to go to the park where we had our engagement pics taken and have a family picnic and then follow a trail that starts at the park and see where we end up! Yes I know that Whitney probably should go with us but she has been with us since we started! HEHEHE! So I thought that it would be fun to take her!

Easter Sunday

This year for Easter we went down to Justin's parents house! Whitney was so cute in her Easter outfits! Justin surprised me with tickets to go to the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference! IT has so amazing to be able to go there and see the prophet and to hear his counsel in person. The spirit that was there was so amazing! The best part about being there is when the prophet walked in everyone stood and the conference center was dead silent! It was crazy cool! Grnadma and Grandpa Hansen watched Whitney for us so we could go! I am so grateful! Also, Justin and I are in the process of moving to Riverton, Ut for the summer and we are going to be living in his parents down stairs basement! I am looking forward to spending the summer time in Salt Lake. Justin got 2 summer jobs working for the census. They are paying $14 an hour which is really good compared to what he is making now. Whitney Katherine Hansen

So, a lot has happened since my last post! Whitney Katherine Hansen was born on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 21 in. long! I had her a week early and the labor went really well! Now she is 7 1/2 weeks old and weighs roughly 10 lbs 8 oz! She is growing so fast! She can't quite hold up her head yet but she is getting much better at NOT being a bobble head. She has some problems with nap time but going to bed for the night is wonderful. She will sleep from about 730-430 or so! Which I am super grateful for! She has been such a HUGE blessing in our family and our lives. I can't imagine life without her now. I love her so much already it is crazy! I am so glad that we had an opps and recieve such a wonderful blessing in our lives. Motherhood is one of the best things to experience in this life! Kids are so AMAZING! Here are a few photos of my sweet bundle of joy!

Baby Whitney is coming!!!

When I went to the Dr this afternoon, I was 4 cm dialated and 70% effaced! He is going to induce me the first day possible...next Friday! That is the day that I am 39 weeks. I am to 'report' to the hosptial at 7:30 in the morning and then the Dr will come in and break my water around 8 or so!! Then let the labor begin!! HOORAY!!

Updated Belly Bump and Baby Shower

I decided to take a new belly picture. So in this picture I am 36 weeks and 3 days!! I also have a picture of all of the wonderful things that I got from my baby shower this past weekend!
