SNOW!

Girls out in the first snow fall. Carlei was not a fan.

Whitney just wanted Carlei off of her lap at this point.

Ready to go for a ride!

Still not liking the cold.

I looked over at her and she was asleep in her chair.

Gratitude

I am kind of bored, but I feel the need to blog for some reason. Things that are new in our lives are that my brother Kevin has moved in with us and is looking for a job and going to be starting school at BYU-I within the next couple of months or so. Carlei is just the happiest baby! She loves to smile and she is to just totally content with laying there looking around. She is just so perfect! Whitney is growing up so fast! She knows a lot of the animal sounds and it is just so funny to listen to her say them. I am still as busy as ever with juggling school work, house work, wife work and mother work! It is fun though and quite a challenge. I know that the Lord is with me though. I know that I would not be able to do this without Him in my life. I am so grateful for my little family and piece of heaven. It is challenging at times but I love my girls do much! I am  so blessed to have them in my life. They make life so much  more enjoyable and fun! I am very grateful for their health and their strength. I have had a few friends recently who have lost their children and it has made me realize how blessed I am from my Heavenly Father to be apart of their lives. I am so grateful for my husband who helps me a TON with everything. I am so blessed. I want to publicly thank my mother-in-law and my father-in-law for raising such a wonderful son, father and husband. He is so wonderful and thoughtful. I am just so in love with him. I am amazed at how much my love for him grows each day! Here is a picture of my little piece of heaven!

Halloween

This year for Halloween, Justin was in charge of planning the ward party. It was a lot of fun! We were going to take the girls out trick-or-treating but we didn't have time and we didn't want Whitney to get all of that wonderful candy (since I would get most of it anyways). Here are a few pictures. You will see how difficult it was to get a family shot with the Hansen family!

Carlei's Blessing

Kevin got home at the beginning of October and so we decided to bless Carlei that weekend down in Henderson at my parents place. It was so much fun to be altogether as a family! The blessing was beautiful! Kevin decided that he was going to move in with us so he can find a job and then he is going to be going to school soon. Here are some pictures of Carlei's blessings.

Living the Viva Loca!!

Life has been so CRAZY since I blogged last! So much has happened!
First, Carlei is now 3 months old. She has grown so much! At 3 months she is in 3 month clothing and some of them are to small. She is in size 2 diapers. She loves to smile and she is trying so hard to laugh! She loves her bumbo and the Jumperoo. She likes her belly a little more each day and she loves to just look at everything and take it all in!
Whitney is big such an amazing big sister! She likes to help feed Carlei and burp her. She will bring me diapers for Carlei when she needs to be changed. A lot of things that I do for Carlei, Whitney will do to her baby doll. Whitney has a little pink potty that she will pee in about once a day. We are just introducing her to the potty and she really likes it! She is no where close to being potty trained. She has not figured out when she needs to go potty yet, but she will get there.
Justin is busy working and going to school. He helps out a lot with the girls when I have homework. We sort of alternate. When he gets home from work he likes to get right to the homework. During that time, I watch the girls. When he is finished, it is my turn for homework. During that time, Justin will usually get the girls in their jammies and then put them to bed after family prayer. It works at rather nicely that way!
I have decided to continue my education past my associates and work on getting my bachelors. After my associates, I will be able to work on my major, which is Healthcare Administration. BYU-I will have my major online when I start the courses. So I will be able to stay home with the girls and still go to school. It will only be about 9 credits so it will take me a little while but I am in no hurry!

Here are some photos of the past little while!

Whitney FINALLY started nursery. She has been really looking forward to it! We recorded this video the Saturday night before she went to nursery.

Professional Pictures

Our neighbor is starting her photography business and she took some pictures of Carlei for us. Carlei was 5 days old. You can look at her website here.
