Walking Better

For the longest time Whitney has just been sitting down as soon as you would let go of her. Today at Andrew and Anna's house she started to walk and went really far! We are all so excited! She is just getting so close to walking soon!

Baby Update...

I went to the doctor today and I got to schedule my ultrasound for Tuesday, March 15 at 9am! I am so glad that I don't have to wait ALL day to find out what we are having! The heart rate has been 148 at 14 weeks and today at 17 weeks the heart rate was 143. My vote is on a boy but I would love to have another little girl. I just want the baby to be healthy and plump just like Whitney was! She is going to be such a big sister. I am really looking forward to the next couple of weeks because then I will really start to feel the baby move! I am really excited! Justin is predicting that it will be a boy as well. If it is a boy then his name will be Brayden Justin Hansen. If it is a girl then I like the name Carlei. She would be named after her Grandma Hansen and her Grandma Fox. Although Justin is not set on this name, I am. I know it is spelled kinda weird but I think that she will like it because she will be named after some of her 2 favorite people! I am sure that it will be missed spelled all of the time and mispronounced but I don't care. Anyways, I am posting pictures of my belly because my cousin Sherilyn inspired me when she posted pictures of her with her daughter Sydney. Just her explanation that she doesn't care what people think, she is bringing a child into this world. So here I am at 17 weeks. It was super late last night but I have the pictures none the less! I didn't start taking pictures with Whitney until I was 23 weeks. So at 23 weeks I will post comparison pictures!

 Whitney had her first fever back in January but here are some pictures during that time. She loves her daddy, especially when she is sick.

Whitney turns ONE!!

It is hard to believe that Whitney has turned the big 1!  We just had a few close friends over and had dinner with cake and ice cream for dessert. We had a great time! She got lots of good presents that she absolutely loves! Justin and I bought her some bath bubbles, a baby doll and some foam bath shapes. Grandma and Grandpa Hansen made her a super cute blue dress, a coral summer outfit, a handmade quiet book (which I absolutely LOVE) and they bought her a purple shirt! Grandma and Grandpa Fox bought her a princess plate. princess spoon and fork, a princess bowl, and a princess sippy cup! Our awesome neighbors bought her this cute pink cell phone that she carries around with her! She had a good birthday and loved all of her new gifts. Justin made her a butterfly cake for her birthday. I was all about buying her a cake, but Justin insisted on making the cake. For the first cake, I think it looks pretty good! Whitney is pretty picky on things that she likes already. She picked out the princess set instead of the generic kind. So I gave in. I have always wanted by little girls to like the princesses...I did when I was a kid!

Baby #2

So I am sure that most of you know, but if you have not heard, Justin and I are expecting baby #2! We are so excited for this little one to get here. We don't know what we are having yet but we get to find out in March. Whitney LOVES looking at baby pictures and pointing to them and saying baby! She has her own baby doll that she gives kisses and hugs to all of the time. I am very excited for her to be a big sister! I am due on August 4th! Today I am 16 weeks, so I am almost half way there!
